Pumpkin Carving Dive Oct 29

Hey gang!

How about getting together to carve pumpkins underwater? Here's the info:

WHO:
All certified divers and their families and friends

WHAT:
Divers carve pumpkins underwater; non-divers carve pumpkins on shore. Pumpkins will be illuminated underwater during a night dive.

WHEN:
Saturday October 29, plan to dive/carve at approx. 2:00pm

WHERE:
Gilboa Quarry

WHY:
Carving pumpkins is fun, diving is fun and mixing the two is double the fun!

HOW:
Bring a pumpkin and carving tools (those fancy stencil kits are great!)
Pumpkins float, you need to bring rocks or lead to sink your pumpkin.
Bring a glow stick (cyalume stick) to illuminate your pumpkin


Anyone interested? Hubby and I are going rain or shine.

But this sounds like a lot of fun.

I missed the GWMG (even though I started the thread) because of my crazy travel schedule. But I'm going to 'pencil' this one in.

The people "running the railroad " where I work think they can send me out of town on a moment's notice. The gall of those people But when they call, I go.

A bunch of us are getting together at Falling Rock the 15th-16th and I THINK we are going to carve pumpkins. I haven't heard the official word.
I bet that Joe would let us line them up and shoot them, hell he might even join us...Ya might be a redneck if..

Sounds like we need to get the SIR (Smore'ing it Right) Team to come out to the pumpkin carving for a training class for tiggrr

If I wasn't going to be in Vegas next weekend a pumpkin carving/shooting sounds like a good time LOL! Why would that not surprise me at Falling Rock, you guys better get pictures if you do it :biggrin:
