I'm finally getting close to replacing my jacket-style BC with a BP/W system. Lately I've been checking out a lot of BCs and wings, and now I'm curious about the kind of dump valve where you just pull on the corrugated hose. I don't have one on my current BC, but the more I look at them, the more they look like a good idea.
Can this type of corrugated hose be added to any wing, or does it have to be designed to use that type of dump valve?
One obvious disadvantage is that they are bigger, and might snag stuff. Does anybody know of one that isn't so clunky?
I already did a search about using my Air2 on the corrugated hose, and that doesn't look like too much of a problem.
So, if I can get a BP/W with a corrugated hose that has a pull dump and an integrated auxilliary air source, does that mean I have to start looking for pink gear?
