The Mrs. and I just got back from a quick trip to Puerto Vallarta. We wanted to get in our first salt water dives and caught a great deal on the flights.

We went out with PVScuba and dove at Caletas and Majahuitas. Both dives followed the slope of the mountains down under the waterline and both dives were rich with sea life. Visibility was about 40'; average depths were also around 40'. At one point on the second dive I checked my SPG and was at about 55' and so we snuck down the extra 5' so we could call the dive 60' (personal goal).

Ramsis (sp?) - the DM - was great. Very safety conscious with excellent pre-dive briefings. He did a great job pointing out things that we would have missed on our own. Plenty of water and snacks on the boat for the times above the water.

As an aside, the new Zeagle Brigade and Zena worked fantastically (thanks ST!). We were both very pleased with our new gear.

All in all, I'd go back tomorrow and do it exactly the same again if I could.
