Heading to PG next week and curious what water temps people are seeing now. Thanks!
 
A few weeks ago water temp was 27 C, maybe 26 C below 30 m, so a 3-5 mm full wetsuit should be fine. Always a good idea to add a hood or hooded vest just in case. A lot depends on how much diving you are doing.
 
Saw a guy wearing nothing but only a broadshorts and on the same day the female instructor at Asia Divers was wearing a dry suit! And all these happened recently(Dec).
 
I was there back in October, and the temp was around 27 C, plus or minus. I wore a 3/2 full and added a 1mm hooded vest toward the end of the week.

23 is a big drop and very chilly!

I'm heading there next month. Haven't booked a place to stay yet.
