Puerto Galera in August/September

What is the weather like in PG in August? Is there lots of rain? What's visibility like, etc.

As with most of the world these days it could go either way, I have had weeks in PG in August with no rain at all, and periods of rain for 2 weeks. This does have a small effect on the viz, but if you are there for macro that is no big deal. Either way the weather shouldn't stop diving.

My last experience at that time of year was 7 straight days of sunshine and 20 - 30+m of vis, and 28+degree water.
