PSYCHED! to be diving again-- but need help on my equipment

I get to go diving in Cozumel in early March!!

But the last time I went diving was in 1996 in Maine. I was a PADI Qualified Rescue diver at the time.

My Primary regulator is a DACOR XL Pacer, My Octopus/Secondary is a DACOR XP Pacer. I'm taking them to the Dive Shop on Tuesday for service.

Is the service technician going to be able to find parts?

What are the pros & cons of nursing my ancient equipment along?
