Hello and thank you for all the work you do!
My husband is interested in becoming a PSD but neither of us knows where to begin, obtain information or if he would meet the requirements... any help you could provide to point us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

do a Google search for 'public safety diver training' there are organizations out there that specialize in PSD training. Is your husband currently a member of law enforcement or fire/rescue dept? what is his dive experience?

is there a local PSD Dept in your area? try contacting them to see if volunteers are needed and what they might want/need you husband to do.

Check with your local vollie fire department.

Thanks for the info and the PM's, I think we're headed in the right direction now.
