Please tell your son that we are proud of him and grateful to him. I have asked to be reactivated but they are basically telling me I'm too old. I hate that.

What a great way to enter adulthood! I am sure that you will become even prouder as he advances in training and through the ranks. And one other bonus: you will not have to ask him to make his bed anymore! A very kind person called a sargeant will take over that!
