After using > 2 years the DIR regulator configuration (octopus on 210cm hose and used for breathing, while main regulator is stowed via necklace), I know now that this configuration is not my favorite and I changed back to the "normal" sport divers configurationb that I was using previously...

What remained is a, longer than "normal", hose on the octopus (150cm), that I find very useful, just in case the octopus will be needed.
I am stowing the 150cm hose&octopus via a loop made by a "Double BCD hose holder clip", like this here:

My question is, whether someone knows an intelligent and creative way to neatly stow this loop further when one uses a BPW, so that the long loop does not extend out?

Thanks, Wolfgang

Are you saying you had the long hose stowed on the necklace and were breathing from your secondary reg? If so, why?

In a DIR (whatever that is) config you breathe from the longhose - your primary - and keep your backup in a necklace.

Longhose would be under the battery canister, plastic stick or just under the harness.

There is no octopus…

Still not quite right. The primary regulator is the one on your long hose, which you're breathing from unless you've had to donate it to an OOG diver or you're on a travel/deco gas. The secondary is secured in the bungee. There is no octopus.
