Do "SeaVision" and "Prescription Dive Masks" both do exactly the same thing?
PDM will uee your mask or they some to choose from of their own. I sent them my masks. One is an Atomic Frameless and the other is a Scubapro Frameless. Because two is one and one is none.

The lenses are my full prescription and they are bonded to the interior surface of the masks. PDM can remove the lenses I am told. Yes, prescription lenses bonded into a dive mask make us look goofy and my response to that is scuba is not a glamor sport for beauty posing. Take up snow skiing or maybe golf so can wear cute outfits and look cool. That ain't scuba diving. And I can now see as good underwater as I can with my normal glasses.

I would not fool with a progressive underwater. I prefer bifocals anyways but our needs to see a spg or computer or in my case the red digital displays of my camera are my concern. I had PDM, at their suggestion, place the bifocal line slightly higher than I would for normal glasses. Because I need to be able to read my camera settings and verify my composition and focus without tilting my head back.

If you want to continue to scuba dive, have a need to see instruments or camera screens then I do not understand why not just have your prescription installed into your mask? And do not send them an antique SeaHunt mask, pick out a new mask or get a new mask like you are currently using and are satisfied with. It is not complicated, it just costs some $. If you need to be able to see, there is a solution.

Here's a shot of my"Executive Readers" from PDM... I don't have readers in my backup mask, but that's because I'm a tightwad.

Of course the photography guys gets to post fabulously sharp-looking selfies to demo his mask while I'm hand-holding a dirty lens in my garage. ::shame:: @Nemrod I'd love a link to your photos. (serious)
