OK, I'll take "F", but her name is Linda, not fear, although at times she is subject to instill some in folks that fall from her good graces !!!!

CDFDiveMaster:
OK, OK I'm hooked on SCUBABOARD! Wow! great concept. At any rate I was just curious to see how many Blessed Divers are out there that are able to play on the board....or how many of you are self-employed, retired, or work from home. Example:

A. SELF-EMPLOYED

B. RETIRED

C. JUST BLESSED

D. WORK FROM HOME

E. ALL THE ABOVE

F. Plead The 5th? (For Those Who Live With Fear)

Not sure what you mean by "Just Blessed". I work in an office, at home, in the car, at clients..... Yesterday I worked at home for 5 hours and went to a course for another 8. I had my laptop with me to deal with my email and (of course) I checked scubaboard during the breaks....

Today I worked at home for an hour or so, then I went to the office and worked there for a few hours, had a meeting in another office this afternoon, hung around there and worked out the game plan for our budget negotiation (this is a cross between chess and street fighting) with the VP in charge of my dept. We finished at about 8pm and I ate at a restaurant along the freeway on the way home and did my email while I was eating..... I have to do this before tomorrow morning so my team has the feeling that I'm still alive when they turn their computers on in the morning.

Needless to say I put in some really long days but I try to get some really short ones in to keep myself sane.... I do feel blessed, though, because on the whole I like my job quite alot.

Right now I'm having down-time..... I'm sitting on the couch with a glass of tomato juice beside my wife, who is playing with her cell-phone and reading a magzine....

When i'm at work I usually open scubaboard in the browser and leave it in the background. I'll take a few 5 min breaks during the day and check what's going on. In the evenings I'll take the time to write a little more. That's why my posts during the day are always short and the ones in the evening are longer.

That would be C.

When I look at things happening around me and things that are occupying me these days, I really cannot complain.

well I am working in the office of a dive center, right now we are rounding up the season, so we don´t really have that much to do..I usually spend more time on here in the winter, as I´m not diving, however during the summer, I´m rushed off my feet with the snorkel boat etc...

Why on earth would I want to surf SB on my own time when I can do it from work???! :admin:
