Actually it was pretty educational. I had a pretty good conversation with the guys at PST. I consider myself more knowledgable than the average guy (I'm a PSI certified visual inspector), so I feel sorry for all the people that might have taken Hydro facilities "word as gold" . It pays to do your homework.
 
The original Sherwood HP tanks (may even be just the first year) are NOT galvanized, and will rust like crazy if the painted coating wears off. This was fixed in the next production round. I believe all of the US Divers HP tanks are from the later round and are paint over galvanizing.
Of course, later they are all galvanized with no paint or colored coating.
