I might have to look into Buddhism. It sounds right for me. I kind of lost it for Catholicism when a priest porked my favorite brother in the house I grew up in. We all know why Catholic priests can't marry, the laws of primogeniture and entail. Upon death, the money goes to the church, not the firstborn male.
Not there yet, but getting to my own higher self, my bro.

I was forced into Catholicism as a child. It never sat well with me. Coincidentally our local priest was jailed for child sexual abuse.
I discovered Buddhism later in life and found it's philosophy resonated with me. A work in progress, sometimes I'm here and present and sometimes my crazy takes over. Am getting better at recognizing it and letting it go before it causes too much damage. One day, one day....
