I've got a Epson 1280 printer, use Epson inks and Epson premium glossy photo paper, both 8x10 and 11x17.

Question I've got relates to the quality of the photos over the long term. After printing what appears to be a crisp, "normal" photo, some (but not all) of the photos seem to develop a greenish tint after about 9 - 12 months (which continues to get slowly worse over time). These pictures aren't exposed to direct sunlight and are framed.

Anybody else have this problem? Again it a minority of the photos, but it is still annoying.

It's ink. It reacts with air. They WILL fade and shift color.

Printing from a printer is not like a dye sublimation process of the photographic process.

Even though you're printing on "photo" paper, you're still just depositing ink upon a paper surface.
