THANKS TO ALL WHO GAVE ME INFO ON JACKSONS POINT. DECIDED NOT TO GO AND JUST DOVE CLOSE TO HOME AT BURLIEGH FALLS.IM NEW TO DIVING JUST THIS SPRING AND LOOKING FOR PLACES CLOSE TO PETERBOROUGH. I AM INTERESTED IN PRESCOTT IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME DIRECTIONS,DRIVING TIME,DIVE SITE,QUALITY OF DIVE ETC. I WOULD BE GREATFUL. TKANKS

.....just head east on the 401. About 3 hrs +/- from ptbo. Great diving. Rothsay is just west of Prescott on Hwy #2 (?) Shore dive with a line out to the wreck, Prescott has it's own scuba park. This is just off the parking lot in Prescott. There is also the Conestoga west of Prescott in Cardinal.

Worth the drive for the day.

There are more shore dives west of prescott, some of them are more intermediate/advanced, but never the less they are excellent. I am just discovering ivy lea, went there today for the 1st time, some really nice walls/sandbar/current action, and rockport is known for it's wall but keep an eye on your depth. At both these locations the visibility is excellent at least 50 feet.
there isn't much else to shoredive that is worth the drive down, unless you like shallow wrecks.

They allow divers after labour day.
