I just bought a new old-stock PT-019 housing for my camera and my question is this: should I apply the silicone grease onto the o-ring that is already installed on the housing or should I just leave it alone? I haven't tested the setup yet but don't foresee a problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If it were me, I would remove the Oring, very carefully inspect it and the housing then relube and reinstall it. Then I suggest you take the housing minus the camera on a test dive, pushing all the buttons and moving all the controls while at depth before trusting it with your camera.

Damn good advice Herman !!!!
