Portage and White Star Weekend

Pvtstash and I dove Portage on Friday evening and White Star on Saturday morning. Vis was pretty bad at Portage, temp was 49, it was cold. Nice weather, though.

Saturday, bright and early, we dove White Star. Vis was about 20 feet and temp was 55. Much better. One of the divers there said the temp is down ten degrees from last year.

I didn't even try to get pictures are Portage as the vis was so bad.

I dove White Star today and the vis was way better... you must have been in a busy spot. The crusher pit is about 50 feet long and you could see from one end to the other... thanks for the report! Wow, Portage was way colder than it should have been too!

I was there Saturday morning and thought the viz was pretty good. Maybe you got behind a class. Not a great shot but you get the idea.
