Actually Dave I thought it tough just maintaining a 2 HP Yamaha for my inflatable raft I constructed a motor mout for.

I'm hip to that!

I could tell you some stories about the amount of time spent on boat maintenance versus
time spent using the boat, but I don't want to mess up the OP's efforts here any more than
I have already. :D
