Which port is closed? Sorry see this is coz.

Windguru shows a rough next few days! Chance of closure till Sun. It is not the windspeed but direction. If it shifts more ENE vs NNE it should open up.

It's not surprising; a blustery cold front blew through here (Austin) on Sunday night.

Ferry across channel running north close to CZM well past northern hotels, then west. Down wind run to PDC .

At the CZM ferry dock the folks staggered off the boat

Two dives this AM - modest chop, not bad.

Windy forecast for next two days

What size boat where you in? They sometimes close the port to smaller boats but 40'ers still go out until it gets really bad.

Six pack boat - 5 divers.

Yesterday the closure was without regard to boat size - total.

Port opened this AM after the red flag up in the early AM. Seas not bad at 8am. Clouds, temp in 70s and windy for the day.

Now - Thursday evening - lump with wind still from the north.

Bright, sunny, and breezy from the north this morning (8AM Friday per Grand Park Royal Cozumel en vivo, Cozumel - Webcams de México). I see some dive boats moving around.
