With a strangely growing norte Wednesday afternoon (nortes normally starts with a bang), the port has been closed all day. 9 foot waves in the channel have renamed the Ferry as the "Vomit Comet". But now at just after 6 pm on Thursday the winds are lessening and shifting to the east as expected. So, tomorrow should be OK, if not in the morning then at least by noon. Cheer up.

If I did that I'd upset a lot of people that want to dive the east side.

But I'll try, its much easier on us than diving over there!

Consider me one of those. I'd love to see the east coast shipwreck site.

Sent from an old fashioned 300 baud acoustic modem by whistling into the handset. Really.

Dear Gdog,

Give me your dates and I'll do my best. I can't find any reservation for any Gdog!

Dear Gdog,

I have consulted the wind Gods and just can't find a norte anywhere in the next two weeks. But the winds and waves will be so low by Wednesday that Sleeping Shark Caves should be a piece of cake, or even more of the other great sites way up north (which ought to be on a bucket list as well). I am back in Texas today and if you want to chat about options my cell is 830 460-0667.
