Actually, if a diver came from the left and reached across to grab the primary it could trap the neck for a short time (I know it's a long shot).
I also really dislike the need to uncross the canlight cable. That is an unnecessary step in a stressed situation. Why trap the LH in the first place. Is there some need to remove the canlight head from the left side during a dive that requires it be free from beneath the LH?
That being said, when I use a LH I like it more because it makes reg recovery and location simple.
As to which I'd donate? Either one. I'm not particularly attached to either and competent and confident to use both (otherwise why have them). It's just another air source to me.
