How much does my pony weigh?
> On land : Who cares? I guess you might if you're schlepping a whole lot of gear already but that's about it.
> Under water : Bundle up the whole rig and attach it to a fish scale. You know, one of those fisherman use to make sure their fish meets the minimum weight to keep. Dunk the rig underwater (a deep rinse tank will do). Read the scale. That's how much you can take off of your weight belt.
