Do you prefer to dive salt water, or fresh water? hmm, id have to say im a fresh water girl. Most of my dives are made in springs. I was just wondering what people mostly prefer.

I prefer the cleanliness of fresh water, but like what I see in salt water as far as corals, kelp and fish. Its a toss up for me cleanliness or eyecandy?

Since I like to dive with sharks it has to be salt water, even though most of my dives are fresh water dives in the Great Lakes.

Salt water by far has much more interesting things to see.

i agree 100% with you do it easy!

I'm happy as long as it's wet. But, I do hate rinsing my stuff after salt.

Salt all the way. I am a warm water wussy who loves visibility and colorful marine life.:D

I would prefer to have the choice on any given day, but I live too far from salt to make that possible.

There are some beautiful things in freshwater- old wrecks that are largely intact and funny looking rocks that were slowly carved out by the flow of water.

Earlier this year, I dove a wreck that sank in 1877 and is still sitting upright on the bottom. I could see the hole in her bow that sank her, but otherwise, she is just quietly sailing through time.
