Tec makes my damned teeth itch. And tek is not far behind.

I try to say Technical as much as I can with non-Tech divers, otherwise Tech. Except PADI brands it as Tec. Tek is just an abomination - may as well take the vowels out to make it sound cool. Tk Dvng.

When people talk about technology, it’s often abbreviated “tech.” Do you ever see it “tec”? I never have. “Tec” in the diving usage is just overly cutesy and looks lazy. Were they trying to be “cutting edge”?
And, no, I don’t consider this agency bashing. More of a WTF were they thinking?
