"hey, you don't have that
many dives so shut up already"

how many dives do you need? 500? the people who have 1,000 dives
can tell you to shut up. 1,000? the people who have 2,000 will tell you
to shut up... and so on...

cool,

that means I can tell just about everybody to shut up already... :11:

No way, man. You clip your spg off on your left strap. You can't tell anyone to shut up..... they just won't listen.... :)

Herman, would you tell us what kind of BC you have?

(This has indeed been a most interesting thread, Kidspot.)

Zeagle Scout, sometimes with a weight belt and sometimes not, depending on the weight I need.

I found this board before I became certified. After reading about different BC's here I checked out instructors and LDSs that sold traditional BCDs and BP/Ws. After doing quite a bit of research, I decided to learn from a LDS school that would allow me to us a BP/W. After certification, I bought one from them.

Needless to say, a BP/W is the only BC I have ever used and I wouldn't consider using anything else. In fact, I like it so much :07: I named myself after it.

ok, but i don't see the point of telling someone "hey, you don't have that
many dives so shut up already"

Sheesh... with an attitude like this it's obvious you've never used your diving experience to make yourself feel better by insulting the inquisitiveness of other divers with less experience out of the corner of your mouth... you need to spend more time in Cave Country with your Oceanic BC.

bah... i haven't worn that Oceanic in, like... 10 months... i'm all grown up now,
dude ;)

What double agenda do I have? We sell BOTH!!!!

On a side note, I am only posting my thoughts - not the view of the entire Zeagle company!!!!

I think I will get a different anonymous screen name to use on posts that are not directly Zeagle related. I would hate for someone to disagree with my thoughts and hold it against an entire corporation....

Scott - the non role model...

Scott ignore them, BC makers are a god send for those of us who absolutely despise weight belts. Besides, I like having the pockets. I have a Concept II and will eventually probably get a Ranger LTD, although I have to admit the 911 looks kind of neat, but that's probably all the spots for gadgets.

Only 10 months?

AHEM<guppy>cough, cough...

*sniff*

well... i also got a dry suit now... have done a whole dive with it on, too

;)

Tried one, prefer my BC. I need its pockets, clips and rings and generally not had a problem.
If i ever scraped the money for a twinset i may try again but currently (15l and pony) i prefer the BC.
