P.S. for those that are wondering why I spend so much time here... I work a night job part time (4 nights/week) and Scubaboard helps keep me awake and alert :) SB is better than caffeine ;)
No need to explain yourself. This is how people learn.. just ignore the bullies :D

H2Andy:
ok, but i don't see the point of telling someone "hey, you don't have that
many dives so shut up already"

how many dives do you need? 500? the people who have 1,000 dives
can tell you to shut up. 1,000? the people who have 2,000 will tell you
to shut up... and so on...

If you are going to quote someone it is best to repeat the words they actually used in the post. The above quote was not used by me. I'm not trying to stop anyone's freedom to post, I was just keeping with the discussion raised by Zeagle and Vladimir.

I still don't see how anything other than entertaiment data could be pulled from this thread's poll. This has little to do with KidSpot directly. Love ya.

saying:
No way, homes. I find myself FAR more comfortable even with an AL80 and an STA than I was with a Zeagle Ranger.

Whether that was a function of me, the ranger, or some alignment of the stars, I don't know.

I'm just saying...

THAT'S EXCATLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TOO!!!

I love my BP/W!!! :07:

Zeagle has a double agenda and Vladimir's post was a cheap ad hominem. Good roll models. You know, there are lots of other threads if this one is getting under you skin....

What double agenda do I have? We sell BOTH!!!! :06:

On a side note, I am only posting my thoughts - not the view of the entire Zeagle company!!!!

I think I will get a different anonymous screen name to use on posts that are not directly Zeagle related. I would hate for someone to disagree with my thoughts and hold it against an entire corporation....

Scott - the non role model... :eyebrow:

I had the opp0rtunity to try a BP/wing during my DIR-F class. I had been using a back inflate BC for a good while and they were a pretty good comparison- my BC has a 35lb bladder and the BP also had a 35lb bladder. I found very little difference between the 2 in trim, buoyancy and streamlining. The BP was a lot harder to adjust and less comfortable on land, UW there was no real difference. All in all I was unimpressed with the BP, esp after all the hype I had read. For my type of diving, mostly shallow warm water, I prefer the ease of adjustment and comfort of the my BC. If on the other hand, I were to venture into tech diving and needed doubles or the like, then the BP would be my choice.

No malice was intended--I thought it was slightly amusing. Kidspot is lucky to have you here to stick up for him though.

I agree. In fact there are many on the same topic started by the same person.
