Brian Gilpin:I occasionally can be found in a wetsuit but usually use my flex 50-50 drysuit. Average dive is shallow and lasts 50-65 minutes. Dive in Monterey one weekend a month on average. Sometimes a wetsuit is more fun. Diving dry is similar to wearing a condom. Just not the same. But then again you gotta stay warm and safe.
coreypenrose:You're in Yolo County? Where? I live out in Woodland.

Brian Gilpin:We live 4 miles outside Winters in Golden Bear. To give you a general idea you leave Winters for the lake and after two miles or so turn north along the foothills for about two miles. What kind of diving do you do? I mostly do Norcal with semiannual treks to warm water and occaionaly to Socal. My wife only does warm water.
Chavodel8en:I too like the feel of getting wet. The coldest water i've been in has been 51 degrees, and i my arms do get cold towards the end of the dive, but nothing too uncomfortable. If i need more warmth, I'll add a hooded vest.
