What does a hydro cost you in the US (limiting the scope as frequency, procedure, test standards, tester qualification, legal/liablity exposure and even currency fluctuations will vary depending on country)

My last set of hydro’s cost $40 per tank and included the VIP and Nitrox fill.

In 2020 hydro's were $20 (no vip, just hydro) - in 2022 they were $50 same place same service.

$75 through my LDS and comes with a new sticker and fill. That saves me the effort of driving up to Seattle to drop them off. I may do that next time since my farm has grown from 3 to 11 tanks in the last couple years. Only 2 are not on the same year cycle.

I go to a Fire Extinguisher place that does the hydro for $25 with multiple tanks. Unfortunately, they don't tumble or VIP. In my area, you can spend up to a $100 for Hydro and VIP. Nanny state of CA where lead is $10 a pound.

I charge $25 for a hydro. Everything else is a la carte.

$32 for hydro/VIP/air fill. My LDS is DOT certified and does hydros in house, so I never have to worry about galvanized tanks.
