Annoying little tempest,

Everytime I get an email alerting me that I have a PM, the URL passed in the email contains a period at the end..., resulting in a page not found error.... Thinking the email template just needs a minor edit.

I've received a few emails asking why the link doesn't work and I never understood it as my email client is "smart" enough to parse links with a period at the end. However, this is clearly not always the case... I have updated the template and this issue should now be resolved.

It was a feature of Outlook Express (and probably Outlook)...See's a string starting with http and creates a url for the entire length of the string (until it hits a space).
