Last weekend, broke my zipper on my Bare full piece wetsuit. Zipper glide cracked and completely broke off. Took to Cape Ann Divers, an authorized Bare dealer. on my way home from dive. They just sold me the slide and said I should be able to repair easily by sliding the slide from the end of zipper. After several attempts at home, found impossible. Took to my neighborhood tailer. Good guy, never let me down. Thought he could with his knowledge of Zippers.. Took one look at it and said NO!. Take to Maunfacturer! And said can't put zipper slide from end. Have to start slide from beginning of Zipper (which makes sense) Now I'm bummed and wondering if ever repairable. I also wanted to dive.

Called LDS where bought it. Aquatic Escapes out of Londonderry, NH. Took to them (which is what I should have done in first place) They were more than happy to send in to Bare for me and give me a loaner suit to use. They suggested a quicker route would be to have Don Steven's shop (Atlantic Aquasports) a competitor repair as they do custom wetsuits and are equiped to do repairs like this. Laura at dive shop even offered to drive suit over his shop on her way home which she did. Aquatic Escapes still loaned me a wetsuit to use until I get mine back at no charge. (which I dove with last night)

This is why I continue to support LDS's Can't get this level of service from LP/Inet.

Kudos to Aquatic Escapes in Londonderry and Laura T.!

Consider yourself lucky. And perhaps the reason for new business. Some of us are local enough to consider them for any new sales.

I'm trekking up to Dive Winnepesaukee next week for a couple masks, just because they would order them for me. It'll be a 3 hour round trip, but as you say, somtimes it is the service more than the price.
