Just to be clear to those who are misquoting my prices - I also offer multi-day packages that are lower that the listed $85 daily a la carte rate. For example, a five-day package brings it down to $79/two-tank dive and a seven day package comes out to $75/day

I do not have steel tanks and have never claimed or advertised this. We do have AL 100's and fight to have them filled to 3300 - we are having more success from the fill station with this recently.

We do attract a solid base of very experienced divers and also new divers and do our best to accommodate all divers requests and needs. Our bottom times average 60 - 70 minutes with safe and enjoyable profiles that do not lead the divers over sand for half the dive as someone else implied.

In my case I pay $60 dollars a day to dive with a very solid op who I trust. My dives are never shorter then 60 minutes unless I want them to be,and my fills are never less than 2900 PSI.I like to dive in small boats with no frills all the water and fruit I want to eat.My boat sits next to everybody's else's during surface intervals and my divemaster's get out and gather with all the other DM's.My point is why should I pay an extra $19 dollars or 40 dollars per day if I am diving with my spouse.Maybe the guy is just saying he doesn't understand why he should pay more.

From your original post you limited the OPS because of pickup downtown. There are many others to choose from but they don't pick up downtown.

From your list of requirements Bluextsea does fit the bill. My OP worked for Christi many years ago before buying his own boat, and I personally recommended Pedro Pablo to take his place back then. Pedro is great and will take care of all your needs. My OP does not pickup downtown so he's out.

I sometimes use Bluextsea when I am solo and no other divers booked with my OP. Christi can provide you all the details you want, so get the info right from her.

I like to dive with Jesus Hortensia Mundo Chupacabra, it's $29.00 for 1 1/2 tanks, you supply the gas for the boat, fills are a little hit and miss, his mother sits in the back room with a bicycle pump and fills tanks, sometimes her shoulders get tired so you have to accept a 600 psi fill once in a while. All dives are computer dives, if you don't have one they will supply a free VIC-20 or a Commodore 64 for an upgraded charge.

Does he pick up in town though?

Where could I buy that pump. Is the 600psi tank for the 1/2 tank dive?

Hopefully you can choose an operator than can get you to see this!!!! 4 days ago at Barracuda :cheerleader:

Leaving Aldora off the usual top five list...in (alphabetical order)...

1. Blue Angel - Fast boats (6-packs with new motors), great DM's & Capt'ns

2. Blue XTSea - Christi and crew do an amazing job. from providing towels and jackets/rain gear on the boats to personal hands on service...great op!

3. Bottom Time Divers - Raul is one of the most safety minded DM's I've ever dove with. GREAT at finding little critters and a great guy in general.

4. Dive with Martin - a looooong-time Coz favorite, we dove with them for years before moving to BA and taking advantage of the dive/hotel packages. This is a very good dive op. 6-packs boats, very good DM's
