maractwin:I'm going to disagree about a corallimorph and say it's an anemone (similar creature, but larger). Corallimorphs generally attach to hard substrate and are often found in colonies. A single individual in a sandy area is more likely an anemone. Knowing the approximate size would help determine this.

good point although I'm not sure. It could be a carpet anenome. Your right size would really help us out. Although they are "mini-carpet anems so either way it will be difficult to say.
