Near New London. Anyone dive here? Parking: Can you park at the boat launch free? I read that this place is "part public, part private". Any "town" stickers, fees needed? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, not so good. In CT you can't dive off of boat ramps, so you have to cross the 'private beach' to get to the water. The parking is scarce. I haven't actually dove it, but people that have, weren't complementary of the place. Most of use go to Eastern point beach (after 6 in the summer) in Groton and Stonington Point (duBois Beach after 6 pm in the summer) both are 15 to 20 feet and vis throughout Long Island/Fischer Sound is pretty bad. We do our OW at these two places.
