Want to go diving with Tank-ha and stay in their hotel 'Mayabric'.

Can you tell your experiences with them?

Thanks!

hey Girl,
never stayed in MayaBrick, but from what i know from locals and saw from inside/outsode it is Ok.
Sorry - all i know.

P.S. Not true! We were considering the stay in Brick last year . We opted to Cozumel though. BUT: the hotel is clean and owner/manager ( Vivian i think ) was very nice - i was emailing with her back and forth for some time trying to decide if i should risk and book this hotel. After we went to Playa, we stopped by and .. well for me it was "allright", my half is saying while i'm typing this - " it's a place to keep your things and sleep. For these purposes it's fine ".
If you take into account that it is right in the center of the town, 2 blocks from the beach ... ( and i'm in love with Playa :sappy: )
but, again, depends on what are you looking for. And one more thing - if i go , i'll ask for the second floor rooms. But it's just me. I also can recall that one one of the floors ( on one set of the rooms ? ) the y don't have fans. So don't forget to duble check...

Hi, my wife and I go to Playa Del Carmen and dive with Tank Ha at least three times a year. Say hi to Vivian for us. We stayed at there hotel for a week last year. Quite and clean. One room plus bathroom shower combo two beds. We went for the diving not to watch tv or listen to music. hint!! no tv or stereo..

Does MayaBrick have electricity in the rooms? I can live without TV, but my hairdryer is a must!

These sites may add a little info for you. We love going to Playa. Hope this helps. Usually stay at Shangri-la Caribe and dive with Cyan-Ha. Heard that Tank-Ha is a good group too.

I dove with Tank-Ha over the christmas holidays. They are an excellent dive operator with good boats, equipment and guides (esp. Stephen). A real class act.
