Hello everyone,

I recently bought a new g250 just to steal the guts for my r109's. I saw this one I bought has a plastic vulcano orifice. Are there any benefits compared to the metal ones? I know that they changed the metal orifice on the d350 and 400's to 'improve ice shedding'. Is this actually the case or would you guys stick with the metal ones?

The D350 never had Delrin orifices as far as I remember, so didn't have the first generation of D400s. This is why I favorite the D350 in the bay if I find one for cheap money.
I can't see any real benefit in using the 'plastic' orifices, found always that I could tune the 2nds a tick hotter than with the Delrin ones, but in contrast to the D-Series I'm not 100% sure that this is really true for the G-R-S-C Series....
