You're just spoiling all my preconceived notions about North Idaho. I always thought you could easily find Nitrox at the shops in CDA like Divers West.... but I've never dove with it up there and it is a ways from CDA to Trestle Creek.

It would be nice if someone could create a sonar scan of the site to give you guys a basis to search as you are not only limited by time but also by visibility as it's very dark, silty and murky below 60-70ft. Something can be 10 feet from you at times and you totally miss it. Still, it's frequently clearer than my lakes.

Just a side note, I live in Southern Idaho and dive the lakes down here, but I grew up in Sandpoint. I've dove around the shallows at Trestle Creek, but didn't go down to the cars as I couldn't find a buddy last time I was up there. Will do it this summer though.

Let me be clear about what I said. I said I didn't have easy access to Nitrox, not that it was not available. There are 3 good shops that I know of in the Spokane/CDA area that have it. I live about 2hr away from CDA. One of the benefits of being on our county dive team is free air. I was going to start PP blending at home then the team decided if everyone (all but 3 are, but one is the team captain....) on the team was Nitrox certified we would set up a Nitrox bank. About a month after that we had a catastrophic compressor failure so that is the main focus right now.

Doing a sonar would be very nice for sure. Funny thing is 3 of my dives there have been that real murky a the ~70' level and you NEED a good light to see. The last dive we did there was actually a fair amount of ambient light even at the train.

If you make it up this way let me know and we would be more then happy to dive it with you. As long as it is not fire season I am usually around.
