Pinthis 5-27-07

We went out and did the Pinthis with Fran Marcoux on the Daybreaker today. Fran as usual ran an absolutely great charter. He really does run the friendliest dive boat I have ever had the pleasure to dive from.

Shameless plug aside, it was a perfect day out there. Flat seas. Great vis. A little current on the line near the surface but not bad at all down on the wreck. Very nice vis (maybe 25 feet). The vis was actually much better at depth than near the surface so it was a little dark but clear. The water temp was 45 degrees F at 95 ft.

It is off of Scituate, MA.

When I saw that star fish I beleive, I knew it wasnt RI. Are those red star fish ever seen around RI Chris?

Sounds great. Last time I did the Pinthis (a month or so ago), vis was 2-3'. Ugly, ugly diving. Heading back next month. Hoping for conditions like what you had.

Err yeah that was supposed to read 5-25-07.... what can I say, I am ahead of my time. I was looking at some shots I took on 5-27-06 when I did the pinthis last year and 27 stuck in my head...

No problem...just bustin' chops and throwing another Dr. Who reference in there. Seriously, the Pinthis is a wreck I MUST make it back to this year--I'm jealous. I'll have to check Fran's calendar to see when he going again.
