Sounded like a few people were considering it, so did anyone else from the board end up signing up for the Pinthis charter with PG Dive and the Daybreaker out of Scituate Sat May 27 at 8am? My buddy Tampico_Ed and I will both be out there.

i wont be out there that day but kingsley (matt) and i plan hitting that wrechk in a few weeks from his boat.
that wreck is kinda cool, espically if you like to see lotsa fish.
but trhe viz is usually outstanding
have fun

I haven't done it before, but the stories of fish and vis are exactly what put that wreck so high up on my "to dive list" for this season.

Ishouldknowbetter and I are headed out on Easy Dive Saturday morning, and on CAD Sun morning. She's working on Monday (Sucks to be her) but I'm headed out again with friends, probably to the everpopular High Pine Ledge. Between nitrogen and Hoegarten, I'm hoping to sober up by Tuesday night when I have to go back to work.

Enjoy the dive! The Pinthis is one of my favorites. I first dived her 13 years ago when the engines were still hanging and you had to almost dig your way under the edge of the hull to get up inside. Be sure to take note of the ships anchor at the bow, which is lodged in its spill pipe, though it is separated from the hull. Along the starboard quarter lies the rudder. I'm looking forward to my first dive on her this year as she changes after each winter.

Have fun and be safe,

Dennis

My husband and I are booked to do the 8am Pinthis charter next Sat, as is Reefseal. See you then!

Cool, I figured someone else from the board had to be going. See you guys out there!

Thanks for the info.

That sounds like it would make a nice picture if we get good vis.

I had heard of a bullshark sighting on the Pinthis a couple summer ago. Dunno if its true but it sounds interesting.

Take some pictures, eh?
