The very best thing about that last dive was the beauty of the reef structure... the geology. The layers of rock and the beauty in which they were arranged was the very best element of the last dive. It was a gorgeous site. More marine life would have been a very nice added feature!

'dette, Robb and I had a fabulous and mellow dive. The rocks were so amaxing - round and twisted and bent into all kinds of shapes, then stacked up like a kid making a fort out of the sofa cushions.

We saw some of those small pink snails, many (like two pairs and a single laying a huge egg mass) of those giant, Volkswagon sized Black Sea Hares. Several lobster, a whimsical Sheep Crab, some snails, a couple of small horn sharks, one really REALLY big Horn shark, kelpfish (among my favs...) and a few snails.

Did I mention the snails? Holy cow - I renamed that place snail reef. What up, pinky?

Yeah - I liked it a lot. Shallow, mellow, beautiful.

The last pix were taken long before TV signaled that he was going up.
Now that gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "watching TV"! ;)
