Hi folks,
Just got back from a couple of days in the Florida caves. My buddy Johnny finished up his GUE Cave One certification (yea). Below are some links to a couple of pictures shot while tinkering around with my new digital camera and u/w housing. The first one is me hovering over Devil's Eye after a dive inside. The second one is my buddy Johnny at the edge of Devil's Ear (I was down in the Ear looking up/taking the picture). The extreme red tint to the photo is caused by the tannins in the river water swirling and mixing with the clear spring water. It gives a very fiery red appearance; almost looks like you are peering up from hell when you are down in the Ear right now.

I really liked your pics. Makes me want to go cave diving, I haven't been in awhile.

Thanks Wendy; hopefully the other caves will be clear/diveable the next time I am in your territory. I'll take my camera and strobe inside then! :teeth:

shots.

Hopefully I will be there soon.

Chad

PS. Congratulate Johnny for me.

Good pictures! When I get my first u/w photos developed, I'm coming to pick your brain if they turn out crappy!
