i will be at the occidental grand x caret from 7/ 21/ 10 to 7/ 28/10...
i am 1 diver, with my own equipment, 5 days 2 tank local diving, possible cenote diveing, looking for a dive op in playa del carmen that will pick me up at this resort with their dive boat...:D:

You might try Scuba Cancun. Our local dive shop has a big sale every year and vendors from all over the world travel to it. Scuba Cancun has come several years in a row, and we've talked to the owner a couple times. Last Dec we stayed at a resort just north of Playa, we had talked to him about possibly doing cenote diving. It seemed like they could accommodate us even though we weren't in Cancun. We didn't get a chance to do it because it was a "family" trip with non-divers and they wanted us to hang out with them 24/7.

I found some info on their website about Playa Del Carmen & Cenotes:

Looking at the information about the resort, it appears they have a house dive op.

I don't know about picking you up with a boat, but I do know that quite a few operations and guides who do the cenotes will pick you up at your resort in a van. My guess is that the hotel organize or can help you organize a day of cenote tours with an operator who is accustomed to picking up clients there.

There's no beach for a boat to pull up to. That hotel has a very rocky coastline that makes it impossible and very dangerous to even try to make a beach/hotel pick up with a boat. I do beach pick up sometimes but only if the coast/beach in that area allows it.
