Scrippsia pacifica. I was going through some old photos that I hadn't worked on. This Giant bell jelly was bobbing around in our slip at the marina in 2012.

That’s beautiful - and such a nice shot. When I think of my photography I generally think ‘I really need to improve’ - and then I start looking at old pics and think ‘I’m not half bad’! I wonder how many of these wonderful shots we have hanging around on memory cards from years gone by?

Some of the cool critters we see could truly be the monsters of our nightmares! Great shot - but dang it’s not ‘pretty’!!
