I couldn't tell you for sure which cenote/cave system that is, but in the Yucatan Peninsula there are hundreds to choose from, and they're all pretty great. I was down there myself a little over a month ago and did about a dozen cenote dives through a dive shop called "Yukatek Divers" in Playa del Carmen. They're great guys. Very professional and reliable, and not overly expensive. Really showed me a great time. Those cenotes are something else too, let me tell you..

It may indeed be Brian, but from reading the show's credits, I know(?) that the photo is from a cenote in Yucatan state, no filming for this show was done in The Bahamas. I'll keep checking...

Love the Abaco stuff, Mike.

Actually, you may be on to something. Brian did tell me he was in the Yucatan not long ago,but he wouldn't say why:wink: .

I'm going caving in Abaco in a few weeks, I'll bug him again. :eyebrow:

Cheers :D

Actually, the photo is taken in Gran Cenote, by Gavin Newman.

Grand Cenote and Nohoch were recently connected, so you were almost right.

Good work. I've been looking for days to find the credits on that shot. I found one very close by another photographer but I just couldn't nail it.

Sac Aktun and Nohoch are huge systems with many similarities. I thought the shot was of/by Bogaerts or Schmittner during their exploration that connected the two systems last month.

Anyone know which episode of Planet Earth that's from? I just watched the entire Caves episode and didn't see that shot at all. Saw other cave divers but not that guy.
