The Official word is that Friday May 5th, Phil Foster Park at Blue Heron Bridge will re-open to the public, after a year of slow construction and set backs...but that is the way of things in any government funded operation...hurry up and wait. I am sure that some of you have been diving there ILLEGALY, but I am not able to risk jail or fines. Either way, it is nice to have such an easy shore dive so close to home, without having to drive south all the time. I hope to see you all or at least most of you out there sooooooon!! If I'm feeling that itchy to dive, I might even jump in this afternoon, tide or no tide!!!

Jacque,

That's great to hear! I'm looking forward to hitting one of my favorite dive spots...

funny thing about that.
I'll be down in west palm today diving with jim abernethy's scuba adventures.
maybe I'll join ya there in the afternoon after my dives?
I'm hitting the road now but I'll pm you my cell phone.
let me know if ya need a buddy.

Yeah I've been to prison!... And from now on you sit down when you pee!

well back home now had two GREAT dives with scuba adventures but no foster park
:(
oh well. maybe next time

Hey all...I spoke with a Sgt. from the county parks ranger patrol early this morning and he told me "you may enter the water and dive under the bridge." If some of you recall, there was some misunderstanding with the rangers and deputies, as in some of them said it was ok to dive, then others acted like you were jumping over the white house fence and running across the lawn brandishing a machete!! So, the official word is Yes...you are GO for diving!. (See you sunday)

I hav'nt noticed any new threads on the Phil Foster Bridge as far as diving reports go.
Hopefully I'll be able to throw in my 2 cents after tommorow, checking the tide tables now for a quick dive in the am.

I supposedly have plans to go monday evening with a photographer buddy.
High tide is around 5pm. Tis her day off. If we dive ... I'll post pics.
