I often dream about having a dolphin as a pet. I know that they are suppose to live in the wild and I'm not against that; but, heh, I have to admit that this would me one of the dreams.

Does anyone here have any exotic pets?

well... practicalities to the fore, keeping a dolphin is really expensive. they eat
like CRAZY. plus, the exotic vet bills would be astronomical.

i read as a kid about this Russian woman who kept two lion cubs from the zoo in her house during WOrld War II (the zoo had been evacuated). they grew up with her
and got really big, and by the time the war ended, they were fully grown, but very
tame.

unfortunately, i've also read of tigers and lions that harm their keepers, so ...
keeping a fully grown wild animal is risky, as they can be unpredictable.

i would love to have a pet lion ... but think of the size of that litterbox...
and three steak dinners a day .... oy...

wow that is awesome!

what is that, a lynx?

(note how it kills its own fish and fowl .... that right there would make my wife
go ballistic and call animal control)

Is it some kind of ocelot? What a gorgeous animal!

looks awesome

This is an ocelot. Are they the same?
