petrel nitrox recreational mode

I just talked to shearwater about this and other things. Here is a summary.....

? of water temp error in the petral. The case was modified to include another ole in hte side ofthe case between the straps to allow water to gt to teh temp sensor.
? do you loose data or settings when yo switch to and from tech and rec. No
? If i do 20 tech dives and switch to rec mode what dive am i on. #21
? Is rec mode just a display change or more. iffy answer.
? If in tech mode i put in 5 gasses and switch to rec what gasses does it show. NONE You have to re enter.
? If i go back to tech what will it show for gasses. The last asigned tech gasses before he switch to rec.
? Changes to the deskop computer interface. New version. teh desktop doesnt know the difference between rec and tech.

Something I didn't know, since I use mine for technical diving. Could be a useful mode, as long as I can still use the technical part of it also.

The only thing that I am missing in tec mode is a list of all deco stops.

All of your stops are listed in the decoplanner when you are diving.
