This might be a bit premature, but I’m in a bit of a time crunch. I am upgrading my dive computer from a Teric, and am interested in either the Petrel 3 or the new Descent X50i. My eyesight are not what they used to be, and although the Teric is very bright , I’m hoping that a larger screen might help. I know it’s along shot, but was hoping someone has actually layed eyes on both of these computers and could offer their thoughts on readability of the computers and any other thoughts they might have.
Thanks,
Peter

Save your money, IMHO. While the Petrel screen is much larger than the Teric, the text itself is only very slightly larger. There is just so much empty space. The X50 may be different, I have no experience with it.

Mask inserts/cheaters are a cheap solution to your issue or possibly a prescription mask. I would at least try those first.
