Divers you can't stand in the vehicle for the 1 1/2 hour drive each way to the dive site.
This….or 8 1/2….both buddies are 8 1/2 hours away from me and if I can’t handle BS-ing with them on the phone for a few hours, I can’t handle them period.🤣

My pet peeve, hmmm. Oh, I know, all the gear is so darn heavy and seems to get heavier each year. And fins are so hard to walk in. And, and, young people do not let me go first, I mean, like, really ;). Oh, and, I get in my gear and am ready to go and I find I forgot to have removed the bungee strap :( !

After defogging the mask, I am getting into harness, put the buckle up, put the bungee of back up second stage, then the long hose, then tucking light cord, put the fins on, then put the mask on and last but not least I need clip stage(s) but my effing hands are somehow still soapy and can’t manipulate bolt snaps, dammit.

I find myself getting seriously annoyed by the divers with the fanciest camera setups using a pointer stick to steady themselves for a half hour to get the perfect picture who noones going to care about seeing...

Selfish.Rude. Poor diving skills. Irresponsible. Careless.
This behavior is epidemic at BHB.

Some folks are just not conscientious of time when gearing up. I can understand that situations happen and there may be a delay. I also understand newbies may take longer than me to gear up.

In all my years of diving, with hundreds of buddies and insta-buddies, there are only 2 people I will not dive with again. These two dudes (separate occasions), for no apparent reason, just took forever to even start gearing up. "Lets start gearing up" "OK" 20 minutes later, still hasnt started. Wont dive with these dudes again.

Lol... if I wasn't fast to gear up and assist my wife, she'd still be getting ready for her 1st dive on our trip last week aug 28th😁

Ok, time to bring this post up from the dead...
