Frank,

Neal and I might float around the pool, wanna join us? (I could just see the water over flowing with our three big (__Y__)'s in that small pool.)

PerroneFood,

What gear do you use? I'm purchasing a BP/W with a hog harness. I hope to get it before next weekend. Then I WILL be in the pool for sure then.

Michael

What gear?

Uhhhh, I have a Halcyon BP/W (but you could get a DSS, Golem, Oxycheq, they're all great), I have a Henderson 5mm Farmer top, Dive Rite Regs, Jetfins, Sunnto Vyper, and that's about it.

PerroneFord:
When you can dive Wakulla.
Hey, I dove Wakulla. Your mentor took me and a paraplegic ex-Special Boat Service Brit in back in the old days.

Got your own thread, eh? Well we’ll have to promote you from “Water Beatle” to “Dragonfly Larva.”

I just ordered a long pattern SS plate, 30# LCD wing, and a hog harness from DSS. :) I already have the Jetfins, LOVE THEM! I'm going to slowly save up for my long hose setup and regs. My next immediate purchase will prolly be the brass SPG and a computer of some sort. I've heard good thing s about the Vyper. Obviously you like it, what are your pro/cons about it? (That is, if you don't mind.)

Michael

Sounds like you have a nice setup coming. Why wait on new regs to get a long hose? Just buy one and put it on the regs you have now.

Honestly, if I didn't need download capability, I wouldn't dive a computer. The Vyper works fine, has big numbers, and a guage mode. I can change the batteries in it. DSS makes a nice mount for it. If you plan to use the NDL and decompression information on the Vyper or other RGBM Suunto, be aware that it will be more conservative than other models. I've never found it particularly limiting, but others seem to be frustrated by it.

granted..... this is Perrone's thread, but dang, are you so needy for attention......

Well, I do plan to get a long hose setup and use the regs I have currently. I meant the first stage and second stage. Even if I didn't get a bp/w, I'd still get a long hose. It sucks trying to share air with the small hose. :|

Ahh, maybe just a watch and depth gauge. :)

Thanks for insight.

Do you honestly go to every thread your subscribed to and randomly count how many posts each person does and post them? Useless stats IMO.
