I perforated my eardrum around 3 weeks ago diving. It was a small perforation and it healed closed in approx 2 weeks when the tinittus stopped and I can now equalise.

So it has healed but maybe still weak. How long would someone wait until they can dive again? Obviously this is subjective but curious of examples if anyone has any?

I'm not sure how we can answer that. I dove fairly immediately after it finally closed (years in the healing) and was very very cautious ascending and descending. Perhaps giving DAN a call might be a good source for a bit of a guideline. If I'd guess I'd do something like 3x the initially heal time to allow for stronger healing... That's an uneducated guess based on how cuts on my hands heal...

Glad your has healed up.

I would call DAN and ask about an ENT in Bristol. Although my suggestion is an overly conservative approach, I always take special care of my ears.
